You Put Beautiful To Shame

Groaning about how you hate your hair
Cuz it won’t fall right and you will swear
That you’re just gonna cut it all off
And you will change your clothes a million times
Get upset and almost cry
Cuz everything looks bad on you in your eyes
But baby you’re wrong
You will spend an hour in front of the mirror
Cuz you look best when you first wake up
When your a hair’s a mess and you’ve no make-up
Baby to say you’re beautiful
Just wouldn’t be saying enough
Cuz your smile makes the sun seem tame
Your eyes take my breath away
So baby you’re right when you say
That you’re not beautiful
Because you put beautiful to shame
When I take your picture you throw up your hands
In front of your face, I don’t understand
Why you’re so self conscious
If only you could see what I see
You could give me an endless list
Of all the things you’d change and you wish
That you could be perfect
But you’re perfect already
Cuz you look best when you first wake up
When your a hair’s a mess and you’ve no make-up
Baby to say you’re beautiful
Just wouldn’t be saying enough
Cuz your smile makes the sun seem tame
Your eyes take my breath away
So baby you’re right when you say
That you’re not beautiful
Because you put beautiful to shame
I don’t know how but I
Will change your mind
Even if it takes my entire life
I will get you to see it too
That baby saying you’re beautiful
Is like saying the sky’s blue
Cuz you look best when you first wake up
When your a hair’s a mess and you’ve no make-up
Baby to say you’re beautiful
Just wouldn’t be saying enough
Cuz your smile makes the sun seem tame
Your eyes take my breath away
So baby you’re right when you say
That you’re not beautiful
Because you put beautiful to shame
